Local Muscle Movers

The portsmouth team was fast and professional. There was a little confusion when I called for booking - I did not get my confirmation email until I reached out after my card was charged. However, the team was on time and fast. This review is specific to the portsmouth team, as I know someone who did...

GREAT rates (competitive with other local moving companies). Very friendly and professional. I used them for an interstate move and would certainly hire them again. They were courteous, arrived on time on the day of the move, and handled all of my items with care.

Delighted with Local Muscle. The guys were on time, friendly, careful with my stuff, and got the move completed quickly. I highly recommend them! 👍😃

Great job all around!!! Very friendly and made our move work despite only having a few days notice, three stops, super narrow doorways and all the other not-so-fun reasons we didn't do the job ourselves. Efficient and extremely reasonable rates. Thanks so much guys!! 2020 Edit: Moved again this yea...

Professional moving company that sent 3 capable and trust worthy movers to get a small job done. They did what they were asked to do and were they accomodating.

We needed help moving office furniture from one building into a storage unit. We hired Local Muscle Movers and had a great experience. Not only do they have their own moving vehicles, they are very quick to respond to any question, on time, and very professional! They made the move quick and almo...

Our move was relatively simple--not moving far and all the little stuff we packed and moved ourselves. We used Local Muscle to handle the big/heavy furniture pieces, and our experience with them was excellent. We made our appointment only a week before the move. The team showed up on time (10 min...

Very impressed from my initial phone call all the way through today's pickup. Great people, Kudos to Maura, Dan, Cory & Keegan. I feel as if I missed someone ( sorry). Our items are in storage with Local Muscle Moving Company.A to Z they do it all & do it well.

Local Muscle's Evan and Nick moved a large truck of furniture and household stuff for us this week. We were extremely impressed with the care they took at every step of the move, up to and including the very challenging reassembly of a poorly designed futon bed. Highest marks for care, courtesy and...

This was my second move using LMM and was just as satisfied as my first experience with them. This time I had quite a unique situation with my move that included three stops over two states! They showed up at the first stop right on time, loaded the truck and on the way they went to Massachusetts (...

Just had the pleasure of not moving my stuff! Called Local Muscle a week prior and booked them for a February moving date. TB, GC, and BS arrived at our storage unit with their truck, a smile, and a wave. Despite the fact that we were getting a mild snowstorm (8"-12"), these guys were in excellent s...

For those of you in need of some local muscle moving your household items in the greater Portland area, Local Muscle are the ones to call. We used their business yesterday and they were terrific! They arrived right on time, moved our items quickly and carefully and listened to concerns. There were n...

Local Muscle Movers is simply one of the BEST companies that Maine and Vermont could have. Their staff is fast, careful and competent. I have loved working and as a single mother, they also moved me out of one and into another apartment in an HOUR -- which was incredibly affordable and convenient. K...

Local Muscle was a fantastic choice! We had them move us from a 10x20 foot storage unit to our new house in town. I arranged to meet them at 9am and was pleasantly surprised to see their truck waiting for me at the storage gate at 8:50am. The two guys they sent, Paul and Ryan, were incredibly mindfu...

I was pleasantly surprised with how helpful the movers were. Four guys moved my household two doors down in 2 1/2 hours. They were careful with my furniture, always asked where items went, packed up some of my closets and even carried over the little things that I either forgot about or didn't pack...
